Surgical Services

At All Animal Care Clinic, Dr. White is  highly experienced, specializing in advanced veterinary medicine, offering procedures that some general practices do not. With a passion for providing exceptional care, he has honed his skills in performing complex surgeries and treatments, ensuring the best outcomes for pets in need. He is supported by a skilled surgical team that includes two highly trained Certified Veterinary Technicians (CVTs), who bring over 30 years of combined experience in anesthesia and surgery. Together, they provide top-tier care for all pets, including dogs living with bracycephalic obstructive airway syndrome (BOAS) and giant breed animals, ensuring comfort, safety, and the highest standards of veterinary care throughout each procedure. We also offer ovary sparing spays (OSS), vasectomies, giant breed spays as well as some orhtopedic procedures.

  • All of our anesthesia protocols are closely reviewed by a Board Certified Veterinary Anesthesiologist. This helps assure that we are using the safest and best protocols for your pets. Our certified technicians have decades of experience with anesthesia and we offer cutting edge pain relief for our patients pre and post surgery. We treat your pets as though they were ours with safety and compassion always at the forefront.

  • At All Animal Care Clinic, we ensure that all surgical procedures are closely monitored by our experienced Certified Veterinary Technicians (CVTs). Our team provides comprehensive support for anesthetized patients, including the administration of intravenous (IV) fluids to maintain hydration and stability throughout the procedure. We also use continuous monitoring equipment to track critical vitals such as ECG, blood pressure, and blood oxygen saturation, ensuring your pet’s safety and comfort during surgery. With our highly trained team and advanced monitoring techniques, you can trust that your pet is in the best hands for a safe and successful surgical experience.

  • AACC proudly offers LigaSure, an advanced vessel-sealing technology that ensures safer, more efficient surgeries. It is ideal for procedures such as spays, neuters, mass removals, liver lobectomies, splenectomies, and other soft tissue surgeries. LigaSure minimizes bleeding, reduces surgical time, and speeds up recovery, allowing us to provide precise, minimally invasive care for the best possible outcomes.

  • PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) and regenerative medicine are advanced treatments that utilize the body’s natural healing properties to speed up recovery and reduce pain. By concentrating platelets from your pet’s own blood and injecting them into targeted areas, this therapy can help treat conditions such as arthritis, tendon or ligament injuries, and improve healing after surgery. The process promotes faster tissue repair, reduces inflammation, and enhances overall recovery, making it a powerful option for pets suffering from chronic pain or healing from injuries. Since it’s based on your pet’s own biological material, there’s no risk of rejection, offering a safe and effective solution to support your pet’s health and mobility.

  • Laser therapy has shown to be helpful after surgical procedures by facilitating tissue repair resulting in the following:

    • Endorphin release

    • Vasodilation, which increases blood flow to bring in oxygen and cells involved in the healing process

    • Muscle relaxation

    • Decreased inflammation

    • Faster healing and repair

The main clinical benefits of laser use in pets include decreased inflammation, decreased pain, and improved wound healing.

Laser therapy is used for many veterinary medical conditions, including chronic arthritis, it also aids in healing surgical incisions, tendon and ligament injuries as well as traumatic injuries.

Laser therapy is particularly useful for pets with limited medical treatment options, such as pets with liver disease who cannot tolerate certain medications, cats, for whom only a few pain-control medications are approved and older pets with diminished organ function

  • We offer professional spay and neuter services for all breeds, including giant breeds and brachycephalic (flat-faced) pets. Our experienced veterinary team takes extra precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of every animal, using specialized techniques tailored to their unique needs.

  • Ovarian Sparing Spays (OSS) allows the surgeon to remove the uterus while leaving the ovaries intact. This has a number of benefits for patients, such as the reduced risk of urinary incontinence, reduction of certain types of cancers, reduced risk of some orthopedic conditions, and many others.

  • At All Animal Care Clinic, we offer canine vasectomies as a safe and effective alternative to traditional neutering for male dogs. This procedure involves severing and sealing the vas deferens while leaving the dog’s hormones intact. This means that your dog will retain his natural behavior and physical traits, but will no longer be able to reproduce. A vasectomy is a great option for pet owners who want to prevent unwanted litters without altering their dog’s hormonal balance or behavior. Our experienced team ensures a smooth procedure with minimal recovery time.

  • Gastropexy surgeries are performed to help prevent gastric dilatation-volvulus (GDV), or bloat, which can be life-threatening in certain breeds. This procedure involves surgically attaching the stomach to the abdominal wall to reduce the risk of it twisting. It is particularly beneficial for deep-chested, large breed dogs, which are more susceptible to GDV. Often performed during spay or neuter surgeries, gastropexy provides long-term protection against this dangerous condition, ensuring better health for pets and peace of mind for their owners.

  • At AACC we believe mass removal surgeries are essential for pets with lumps, tumors, or abnormal growths. These procedures help improve comfort, mobility, and overall health, whether the mass is benign or requires further evaluation. Special care is taken to ensure a safe and effective surgery, with advanced techniques tailored to each pet’s unique needs. Regular check-ups and early detection play a crucial role in managing and monitoring growths and maintaining a pet’s well-being.
