Frequently Asked Questions
Do you have after hours for emergencies?
AACC has an After Hours Voicemail that goes directly to our team to triage whether or not an emergency exam is necessary. If your dog requires potential hospitilization we recommend going to an emergency hospital in Portland.
Do you offer payment plans?
At AACC we do not have in house financing, however we can help you apply for two external financing options through: CareCredit and ScratchPay. Please see our Financing tab for more information.
Do you see all types of animals?
Our hospital focuses their expertise on cats and dogs only. However, we can point you in the right direction if you have an exotic pet, a pocket pet, or livestock that you need medical care for.
I know what’s wrong with my pet; why can’t you just give me the medication?
Federal law requires that veterinarians establish a valid client-patient-doctor relationship before treating an animal and/or providing medication. Also licensed veterinarians are the only people who can diagnose and treat animal illnesses.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes! To be sure we have time to see your pet and have scheduled time to focus just on you and your pet and their needs. We understand there are times when your pet needs to be seen sooner than we have availability, in cases like that please call our front desk we will try our best to get your pet seen.
