Dr. Katy Holmes

Dr. Katy Holmes is originally from Colorado and received her veterinary degree from North Carolina State University. She has previously worked in emergency medicine, as well as general practice. Her purchase of All Animal Care Clinic in March of 2015 fulfilled a dream of moving to the beautiful Pacific Northwest. She is certified in acupuncture and dedicated to the healthy longevity of her patients. She has special interests in healthy aging, nutrition, and ultrasound, and believes that client education is her biggest tool for keeping her patients in tip-top shape. She consults for local animal-related non-profit organizations and believes community involvement is an important part of local business ownership. Dr Katy enjoys working with the less common pets such as ducks, guinea pigs, and lizards and believes that even the smallest pets deserve low-stress handling and top-notch care. She maintains memberships in the American Veterinary Medical Association, Oregon Veterinary Medical Association, Independent Veterinary Practitioner’s Association, and the Humane Society Veterinary Medical Association. Personal interests include wild foods, gardening, and enjoying our beautiful state’s outdoor offerings. She lives in Hood River with her husband and Italian Spinoni, Bruno and Caccia, as well as a handful of chickens and rabbits.
